At Swiss Padel Association, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data that we collect and process in connection with your use of the website www.swisspadel.ch (the “Website”) in accordance with our Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy, as updated by Swiss Padel Association from time to time, defines the conditions under which you give Swiss Padel Association permission to collect and process your personal data.

1. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

    BY PROVIDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA, YOU EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZE THE SWISS PADEL ASSOCIATION TO COLLECT AND PROCESS THIS DATA.

    The Swiss Padel Association is the sole owner of the personal data you provide.

    You also agree that Swiss Padel Association may implement an automatic tracking process (cookie) that collects anonymous information, such as browser type, operating systems and date and time of access, when you use the Website in order to improve the content of the Website, customize the Website for our visitors and learn more about them and their use of the Website. You can block cookies by changing your browser settings.

    The Swiss Padel Association is committed to collecting and processing your personal data in a transparent, lawful and proportionate manner at all times.

    2. RIGHT OF ACCESS AND CONSENT

    You may at any time request access to your personal data and request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data concerning you by contacting the Swiss Padel Association at the following address: info@swisspadel.ch. It is your responsibility to ensure that your personal data is accurate and up to date. If you discover that any of your personal data is incorrect or out of date, it is your responsibility to inform the Swiss Padel Association. The same applies if you wish to withdraw your consent. It is your responsibility to contact the Swiss Padel Association.

    3. PURPOSE OF THE COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

    The Swiss Padel Association collects and processes your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

        • Participation in challenges and competitions organized by the Swiss Padel Association on the website

        • Registration to use the website

        • Website maintenance and development

        • compiling statistics to improve the quality of the services offered to users

      Your personal data will not be passed on to or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

      Your personal data may only be disclosed for purposes and in situations that are required by law.

      4. STORAGE AND TRANSMISSION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

      The Swiss Padel Association is based in Switzerland and all personal data that you transmit to the Swiss Padel Association will be stored in this country. In principle, the Swiss Padel Association will never pass on your personal data to third parties without your prior consent.

      Swiss Padel Association’s activities are international, and by registering with Swiss Padel Association you acknowledge and agree that Swiss Padel Association may transfer your personal data to other Swiss Padel Association entities or their subcontractors, including outside Switzerland or the European Union, if Swiss Padel Association deems it necessary for the purposes set out in section 3. We will ensure that the receiving entity has undertaken to treat your data confidentially and securely, outside your country of residence. If the level of data protection in a country does not meet internationally recognized standards, we will ensure that data transfers to databases in that country are equally protected and that no transfer of data to third parties in such countries takes place. The Swiss Padel Association reserves the right to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law.

      The Swiss Padel Association strives to ensure the best possible level of security for your personal data and will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from the risks of damage, destruction, loss or unauthorized access.

      All personal data provided by you will be treated as strictly confidential.

      The Swiss Padel Association will only store your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in section 3. Please note that data may be retained for a longer period of time for statistical purposes only and that the Swiss Padel Association uses anonymous data whenever possible.

      7. AGE RESTRICTION

      Registration is not possible for users under the age of 13. By registering with Swiss Padel Association, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain permission from your parent or legal guardian before using the website and registering with the Swiss Padel Association.

      If you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor child under the age of 18 and that child has registered with the Swiss Padel Association without your permission, please contact the Swiss Padel Association and we will give you full instructions on how to cancel your child’s registration.

      8. SPAMMING

      The Swiss Padel Association will not engage in spamming and will only allow the use of your personal data for commercial or promotional purposes by third parties with your express consent. If we believe that certain information about the activities of the Swiss Padel Association is of interest to you, we will inform you by e-mail, giving you the opportunity to unsubscribe from this service.

      9. AMENDMENT OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

      The Swiss Padel Association reserves the right to make changes to the terms contained in this Privacy Policy at any time and at its sole discretion. When we make changes, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of the Website Terms of Use. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Website. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of changes will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
