Foundation

The founder and first president of the Swiss Padel Association, now the Swiss Padel Association, has been our president again since 2024 and is moving towards the future together with the trend sport, the board and the Swiss Padel office.

Rico Jacober founded the Swiss Padel Association together with his brother, Mario Jacober, in 2006. He also paved the way for the first places in Switzerland and also in Singapore, for example, for this exciting sport.

In addition to his burning passion for padel and his development over the last two decades, Rico had also experienced the step from a solid padel player to an elite player. He played for the US national padel team and was captain of the US world championship team before playing for the Swiss national team.
